منظار الغواصة

مِنْظَار الغَوَّاصة \ periscope: an instrument (used in submarines) that gives one the view from a point which is much higher than one’s head. \ مِنْظَارٌ مُزْدَوِج \ binoculars: glasses for seeing distant objects in the country, or getting a clearer view of actors at the theatre. \ مِنْظَار مُقَرِّب \ telescope: an instrument for looking at distant objects (esp. stars or ships) with one eye. \ مِنْظَار مُكَبِّر \ field-glasses: an instrument held in front of both eyes, for seeing distant things.
